Unidentified Flying Object (UFO)

Unidentified Flying Object is a light or object in the air. Some people believe that UFOs come from space, from civilizations which are more developed than our own.

Many reported UFOs are actually bright planets, stars or meteors.

People have reported aircraft, satellites, birds, insects and weather balloons as UFOs. Unusual weather conditions also can create optical illusions that are reported as UFOs. Some UFOs are called flying saucers.

Space-beings either look like us or are able to look like people.

According to various theories, they come here to investigate our planet and people who live on it, to collect different things and to see if it is possible to invade the land.

Many people say that they have been on board an UFO, but nobody brought back an object which was made on some other planet. No UFO left such an object on Earth.

Some scientists say that UFOs are creations of the human mind. This may be so, but sometimes several people see them and they show on radars.

There is also a problem of distance. The nearest star system which might have life is in Alpha Centauri, and if a spacecraft from that system had a speed of seventy million miles per hour, it would still take it almost a hundred years to fly to the Earth and back again.

There is an opinion that UFOs come from a different dimension, where rules of time and distance that we know, can not be used. This can explain why these spacecraft suddenly appear out of nowhere and disappear into nowhere again. According to this theory, UFOs belong to a place which people can't describe or understand.
